CNA Curriculum Includes
75 Hours of Training — Follows Michigan State Guidelines
- Taking and recording temperature, blood pressure
- Patient assistance skills – feeding, dressing and bathing
- Measuring food and liquid intake and output
- Patient care skills
- Medical terminology
- Related anatomy and physiology
- Safety and body mechanics
- Patient abuse prevention
- Patient rights advocacy
- Communication skills
Our Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training program will provide you with an excellent foundation for your CNA Career. We offer hands-on training, as well as classroom instruction, in a positive, encouraging atmosphere. The four week program uses three core learning methods:
- Lectures in a classroom setting
- Lab practice
- Clinical experience at a local long term care facility
In the lab practicum, you'll practice skills with simulations, models and manikins. After successfully completing 16 hours in the lab practicum, you and your fellow students are eligible to go to the clinical rotation. Once you have successfully completed the program, you'll receive a certificate of completion, making you eligible to take the state exam.
BLS/CPR Program Only

Books available to rent for just $30.
A $150.00 deposit is required at the time of application to secure your seat, with the remaining balance due on or before the first day of class.
Classes are held in person. Clinicals are held at a Long Term Care Facility.
Financial aid not available through FAFSA. Michigan Works and Michigan Achievement Scholarship may be available.

- CPR/BLS CERTIFICATION

For individuals aged 18 and above. Hands-on experience in blood draws under qualified instructors.
Books available to rent for just $30.
A $150.00 deposit is required to secure your seat, with the remaining balance due on or before the first day of class.
Upon completion, students qualify to sit for the NHA exam.
Financial aid not available through FAFSA. Michigan Works may be available.
